Good morning, Rat Rock Nation! Davey Mac of the Morning Rat Race here and as you may or may not know…I’m a massive Guns N’ Roses fan. G’N’R has been one of my absolute favorite rock bands since I was ten years old (in 1987).  I was just a kid watching MTV very late on a Friday night when the music video for “Welcome To The Jungle” came out and my life was changed forever. “What was THAT?!” I remembered asking myself… needing to find that band and that album immediately.

By the time 1991 rolled around…I was a full-on Guns N’ Roses fanatic. I was 14 and G’N’R’s music really spoke to me.   And when the Use Your Illusion records came out…life was perfect! In my opinion, they BOTH rocked…and each had an incredible selection of songs…some of which became Guns N’ Roses classics. From “Don’t Cry” and “November Rain” to “You Could Be Mine” and “Civil War”…these L.P.’s have something for everyone.

So today we’re looking back at the albums of Use Your Illusion I and Use Your Illusion II and we’re asking YOU which one YOU like better!   Let’s look at the tale of the tape!
