This 2023 season has a bunch of new add ons and of course the ones that we are always having fun in. This year some of the new things that are coming our way are new VIP lounges that have games and TVs ready to go. The kids are going to love the new “Splash Island” that has a tree house attached to it with mini slides and beautiful waterfalls.
HENDERSON, NEVADA – MAY 30: A lifeguard wearing a mask sends rafts back up an attraction for guests at Cowabunga Bay Water Park, which was allowed to open for the first time this weekend because of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic on May 30, 2020 in Henderson, Nevada. The park would have opened on March 21 but had to wait until Nevada’s Phase 2 reopening of the economy, which includes operating at 50% capacity, new social distancing guidelines and other restrictions in place. As a thank you for waiting for the reopening, the park is only allowing season pass holders in on opening weekend; it opens to the public on June 1. (Photo by Ethan Miller/Getty Images)
There is even going to be a bunch of brand new slides for you and the family to check out. I was very lucky to get invited to check out Hurricane Harbor awhile back and had so much fun on all the slides and all the employees that were working there are just so nice.

Gotts is the unofficial mascot of the county. Whenever WRAT is hosting an event, people ask if Gotts will be there. there. Like Bigfoot, many people claim to see him in the area. According to Gotts, he was thrown out of home school in Monroe Township. To keep up with his own legend, Gotts likes writing about wacky local news that happens – such as pepperoni vandals. His favorite movie is Point Break, and is a big lover of Miller Lite. His favorite words to live by are “The windshield is always bigger than the rearview mirror”.
