Help Raise Money For K-9 Vehicles For Bradley Beach Police Department
The nonprofit organization Angel and Jules for Others is hosting a great event to help support the Bradley Beach Police Department’s K9 unit. It’s going down on Saturday September 10th at Funtown Beach located at Stockton Avenue and Boardwalk in Seaside Park from 2 pm to 10 pm,
The fundraiser will be utilizing the entire 3 city block long beach. This fundraising event is being held to purchase two brand new K9 vehicles as the current vehicles are in great disrepair.
Recently, one of Bradley Beach’s K9 officers responded to a murder in Asbury Park and their vehicle broke down in the street in front of the crime scene. According to Julia Callano, the organizer of the fundraiser, the K9 vehicle was left stranded because all towing services called upon failed to respond fearing they would be in danger. This should have never happened, and with your generous donation the Bradley Beach K9 unit will be able to buy brand new vehicles so they can effectively assist the community.
The event on September 10th will highlight the gift of 2 service dogs for 2 combat veterans. Enjoy live entertainment, food including fare from Beacon 70 in Brick, beer trucks, 10 tasting booths featuring premiere liquor brands such as Macallen, and Noble Oak, a Tito’s truck, raffles, games, and other activities.
Come support the Bradley Beach K9 unit on Saturday September 10th from 2 to 10 pm at Funtown Beach in Seaside Park. Tickets are $75 in advance and $85 at the door. For more info go to www.angelandjules.com or call 732-281-7789.
