Do You Shop At Discount Dollar Type Stores?
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA - NOVEMBER 23: The Dollar Tree sign hangs outside a Dollar Tree store on November 23, 2021 in Los Angeles, California. The company announced it will permanently increase prices from $1.00 to $1.25 on most of its items in a move it said was ‘not a reaction to short-term or transitory market conditions’. I’ve been to a variety of discount stores. Dollar General, Dollar Tree, Family Dollar…etc. I go to different stores for different things. For instance, I go to Dollar Tree for name brand tissues, gift wrapping supplies, and top name greeting cards. Dollar General is good for cleaning supplies, they also carry name brands from time to time. I like Family Dollar for office supplies, and on occasion all of these types of stores have decent products for personal hygiene such as toothpaste, and mouthwash.
Since the pandemic, I find myself shopping at these places more often than ever before. How about you? Are you a regular customer at these discount stores? Which ones are your favorites.
