Here’s What Marty Martinez (Former WRAT Morning Show Host) Is Up To Now
His Art Is Featured In A Local Exhibit
If you’ve been a WRAT listener for any amount of time, chances are you know the name Mr. Marty.
He was a long time co-host of the Morning Rat Race… Spent over a decade helping us deal with the insanity of life with an awesome sense of humor and a deep love and appreciation for rock-n-roll. Before being a member of the Rat Rock Nation, Marty Martinez was a member of the talented group of broadcasters that made 102.7 WNEW famous.
“Marty is a brother that I never knew I had,” says current Morning Show host and WRAT Program Director Carl Craft, “and now, you guys have to check out Marty’s paintings. They’re really special.”
Since his retirement, Marty has been doing lots of cool things… but perhaps the coolest is his artwork. His talents have always included drawing and sketches, but now… for the month of February… Marty’s paintings are on exhibit at a branch of the Ocean County Library. Specifically, find them at 10 East Lacey Rd., Forked River, 08731.
This exhibit is entitled, “Love and Spaces”.
