‘Superman’ Star Margot Kidder Dead at 69
Margot Kidder, best known for portraying Lois Lane in the iconic Superman franchise opposite Christopher Reeve, has died at the age of 69.
First reported by TMZ, Kidder passed away in her Livingston, Mo. home. So far, a cause of death is not known.
In addition to playing Lois Lane, Kidder held a lengthy acting resume that also included a starring turn in the 1979 horror film The Amityville Horror and numerous TV movie roles, TV guest star appearances and voice acting parts.
Kidder has been an advocate for mental health awareness and was diagnosed with bipolar disorder in the ‘90s after a public manic episode.
