Movie nights & live concerts are Coming To Toms River this summer.

The sights and sounds of summer have already begun and most of us can’t wait to enjoy what lies ahead.

Cookouts, hanging on the beach, and live music are just a few things that make a Jersey Shore Summer complete.

I love living in Toms River for many reasons. It’s close to everything I need and we have a huge variety of local businesses from pizza joints to hair salons. I rarely have to leave town to find what I’m looking for.

There’s downtown Toms River with all kinds of seasonal festivals, car shows, and arts & crafts shows. Plus, the town’s Farmer’s Market at Huddy Park.

We are lucky to have all kinds of entertainment, and several parks, including Shelter Cove with its bayfront beach, lighted soccer fields, softball fields, tennis courts, and more.

You don’t have to go far for entertainment and family activities when you live in Toms River.

The township has announced a bunch of free concerts and free movies for you and your family to enjoy this summer.

If you plan on attending any of these free events, please bring your own chairs and blankets unless you don’t mind standing. Feel free to bring your own food and snacks and please don't forget to bring a garbage bag so you don't leave any trash behind.

Also, be aware that alcohol and smoking of any kind are not permitted under state law.

The summer concerts go down from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesdays at Shelter Cove Beach.
