Worst Music Of The 1980s

Hey there Rat Rock Nation, we all have our hits of the 1980’s era. Check this list from Rolling Stone Magazine of the top songs of the 80s by clicking right HERE. But what was the WORST SONGS of that time? I was out and about the other day, and sitting at the bar when a song came on. Someone had said this was the worst song of the 80s.

This stirred the pot because it got a bunch of other people talking about the worst song of the 1980s. I then decided to pull out the pen and pad and take notes. Now let’s make a list to share, and get your opinion to see if you agree. Believe me, there are a ton of songs on here that I still sing along with myself when I hear them. THIS IS JUST AN OPINION AND DON’T TAKE IT TO HEART PLEASE.

 Music That Was Not The Worst Of The 1980s:

As we all know the 80’s was rock and roll. The hair spray to the Ford Mustangs, everyone in that period was ready to rock. What a great time to be alive too, that time around gave us some of the best bands ever, and are legends. From Metallica to Guns And Roses even Michael Jackson and Beastie Boys were changing the scene. It was all about music, fun, and hits. Just think back to when MTV was music and showing the videos to bring life to it.  I know, they then decided to make a mockery of where we live  with a show called the “Jersey Shore.”

    He became a hit back then now we see this hit on the internet all over the place and here this track at a bunch of weddings.

     

  • 2. Taco " Puttin On the Ritz"

    This song would come on back in my day and I could not change the channel fast enough from the back seat of the car.

  • 3. Men Without Hats " The Safety Dance"

    We Can Dance, We Can Dance Everyone Is Taking The Chance !! UGGGGGGGGGHHH Please stop

     

  • 4. Wham " Wake Me Up Before You Go Go"

    We all know it and sing along but this was a song to get us a laugh in the long run.

     

  • 5. Europe " The Final Countdown"

    This song ran its course but just end it! When is the countdown going to hit zero already.

     

  • 6. Milli Vanilli " Girl You Know It's True"

    This one was crazy ! Do you remember when the song skipped on them when they were not really singing this track. Ohhh Boy
