Good morning, Sports fans!  Davey Mac with another Sports Report for ya!  Baseball, basketball, football, and hockey!  But first!

…Did you see what happened in the Browns – 49’ers game yesterday?  San Francisco entered the game undefeated and were heavily favored to beat Cleveland.  But backup quarterback P.J. Walker (playing for an injured Deshaun Watson) got the start…and the win!  Walker was excellent!

  • Jets Upset The Eagles

The Jets beat the Eagles yesterday in surprising fashion…20 to 14…giving Philly their first loss of the year.  The Jets defense was the star…they intercepted Philly QB Jalen Hurts three times and also forced a fumble and turnover on Eagles running back D’Andre Swift.  Zach Wilson threw for 186 yards, with no touchdowns and no interceptions.  The Jets improve to 3 and 3.  The Eagles are now 5 and 1.

  • Giants Lose On Last Play To Bills

On Sunday Night Football…the Giants lost a heartbreaker to the Bills…14 to 9.  The Giants defense was really good…but especially with no Daniel Jones in the game…the G-Men just couldn’t get enough points.  Despite that…the Giants had one final play at the Bills’ one-yard line with no time on the clock…and Tyrod Taylor’s throw to tight end Darren Waller went just over his head.  It looked like passing interference as Waller’s jersey was grabbed and he was puled down…but the ref didn’t call it.  The Giants drop to 1 and 5.  The Bills are now 4 and 2.
