Good morning, Sports fans!   Davey Mac here with another fun Sports Report for ya!   We’ve got new Stanley Cup Champions!   The Subway Series is in full swing!   Football news!   And more!   But first!

Did you see the latest about the surprising merger between the PGA and Saudi Arabia-backed LIV golf tours.   Masters champion John Rahm spoke publicly with reporters recently and did not sound pleased.

Rahm said that the PGA players feel “a bit of betrayal from management” after not being consulted thoroughly before the merger.   Rahm had been vocal, along with Rory McIlroy and Tiger Woods, about players selling out the PGA to play with LIV.

Rahm further stated: “I wanna have faith that this is the best case for us, but that’s clearly not the consensus.”   Rahm is currently the Number 2 player in the world.   We’ll stay up to date with this story.

  • Yanks Beat Mets In Thriller

    The Yankees beat the Mets in an instant-classic Subway Series game…final score…Yankees 7…Mets 6.   The Mets were up 5 to 1 before the Yankees came back after a rally of their own.   Giancarlo Stanton and D.J. LeMahieu each homered in the game…as the Yanks move to ten games over .500 at 39 and 29.   The Mets drop to five game sunder .500 at 31 and 36.   The Yankees and Mets play again this evening at Citi Field at seven o’clock.

  • Phillies Dominate D-Backs

    The Phillies destroyed the Diamondbacks…15 to 3.   Kyle Schwarber slugged his 18th home run of the year…as the Phils improve to 33 and 34 for the season.

  • Vegas Wins The Stanley Cup

    Over to hockey…as the Las Vegas Golden Knights are this year’s NHL and Stanley Cup Champions.   The Golden Knights beat Florida Panthers in Game 5 last night…9 to 3.   Vegas’ Mark Stone had a hat trick with 3 goals to clinch the championship…meanwhile, Vegas’ Jonathan Marchessault was named the Conn Smythe Trophy winner as he wins the Playoff MVP.   So, congrats Las Vegas!   That party is gonna rock!

  • NBA Playoff Ratings Up

    ABC, ESPN and TNT had the most-watched NBA playoffs in five years…as the games averaged 5.47 million viewers per game for the postseason.   As for the NBA Finals, ABC brought in an average of 11.64 million viewers.

  • Jets Sign Another Former Packer

    The Jets have signed former Green Bay Packers safety Adrian Amos after safety Chuck Clark suffered an injury in practice.   That’s now SEVEN former Packers who played with Aaron Rodgers in Green Bay who have been signed this year…amazing.

  • McGregor Says 'All Good' With Knocked Out Mascot

    UFC star Conor McGregor says all is well with the Miami Heat mascot Burnie that McGregor accidentally hospitalized.   Hey were supposed to be doing a sketch when McGregor hit him with two left blows in the nose and Burnie was done for.   McGregor says he and Burnie have talked it out and they’re all good.
