Did you see what Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson just said. Here’s the quote: “I’m not going to beat around the bush, man: We want to win a Super Bowl.”

BAM! Sounds like Wilson is all in. This comes shortly after new Jet receiver Allan Lazard (who worked with new Jet quarterback Aaron Rodgers on the Packers) said that he believes the Jets will win it all. Lazard believes in his Green Bay-now-Jets teammate Rodgers that strongly.

Meanwhile, it seems that Rodgers approves of this goal. Speaking to the media recently, Rodgers commented about his team-mates’ confidence. “That’s what you want,” Rodgers said. “It’s spectacular.” So Rodgers is not shying away from Super Bowl talk…rather…he is embracing.

The question is…and we’re not trying to throw rain on anyone’s parade…but what happens if the Jets don’t win the Super Bowl with Rodgers? Will this go down as a catastrophic trade? Will it simply be Brett Favre On The Jets Part II? How much pressure is now on this team? And what will the fans accept…is it Super Bowl or Bust for the Gang Green faithful? Mets Lose To ChiSox
The Mets lost to the White Sox…6 to 2. The Mets drop to 45 and 51 for the season.

Phils Fall To Milwaukee
The Phillies were shut out by the Brewers…4 to nothing…as the Phils drop to 52 and 44 for the year.

Yanks Vs. Royals Tonight
The Yankees were off. They finally return from their disastrous road trip…where they went 1 and 5…to come back to the Bronx to take on the Royals at Yankee Stadium this evening. The Yanks come in to the game at 50 and 47…last place in the A.L. East.

Dan Snyder Fined $60 Mil By NFL
The NFL fined now-former Washington Commanders owner Dan Snyder $60 million after they concluded that Snyder sexually harassed a team employee and also withheld revenue from the NFL. The news has led to the sale of the Commanders to Josh Harris for $6.05 billion. Snyder is now out in Washington.

Morant Friend In Trouble
Tennessee law enforcement arrested Davonte Pack, a friend of Memphis Grizzlies superstar guard Ja Morant, for misdemeanor assault after Pack was found to have struck a teenager at Morant’s house last summer. Morant is facing a civil suit in the case.
