Halloween is my favorite holiday, because you can dress up how ever you want, and come up with really creative costumes.
Sometimes you want to spend time out with the family. Go out and do a little pumpkin picking and find your way through the corn mazes. Also, visiting some of Jersey's best haunted hayrides.

Some of these are so crazy you might want to be extra careful with the little ones in tow. Most of these are open just on the weekends. With the nice weather coming our way this weekend, It will be perfect for you and the family to get out and have some fun. Some of these haunted hayrides do require that you call in advance. Just to let them know how many people will be attending.

New Jersey Is All About Haunted Hayrides.
I'm sure there will be a couple of haunted hayrides that you might not know about on this list.
This list was made with the help of some awesome Rat listeners and other friends. They have talked them up. I myself have not been on a haunted hayride in a really long time and I plan on definitely heading out and about this Friday to experience 1 or 2. I love that thrill of being scared, even though almost every day is like Halloween for me here at The Rat.

With all the wild outfits they have me dressing up in, I actually scare myself when I look in the mirror.
