…Happy Opening Day, Major League Baseball fans! That’s right! It’s Opening Day across the Majors today and I couldn’t be more excited (despite the website Baseball Reference predicting that the Yankees will be going 71 and 91 this season and finishing in last place in the A.L. East).
At 4 PM, the Yankees will take on the Astros in Houston. Nestor Cortes is the probable starter for the Yanks…as they look to get back to the postseason after missing the playoffs last year. It’s gonna be interesting to see how new Yankee outfielder and All-Star Juan Soto fits in. Can’t wait!

Meanwhile, both the Mets and Phillies games have already been rained out. Both games have been rescheduled for tomorrow. The Mets will go against the Brewers at Citi Field. We’ll see what kind of season Pete Alonso has as he enters the final year of his contract with the Mets.

Knicks Dominate Raptors In 44-Point Win
Over to basketball. The Knicks absolutely destroyed the Raptors last night…145 to 101. “Deuce” McBride led the way for the Knicks with 29 points…Jalen Brunson added 26 points…and the Knicks improve to 44 and 28…now third in the Eastern Conference!

The Nets beat the Wizards…122 to 119. Brooklyn’s Cam Thomas had 38 points and 7 assists in the win.

Tom Brady Close To Buying Raiders
Football. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell says that he believes the NFL will approve Tom Brady’s big to buy the Las Vegas Raiders soon. Goodell stated: “We’ve been in touch with their side. I think it’s been making progress.”
