…Happy Opening Day, Major League Baseball fans! That’s right! It’s Opening Day across the Majors today and I couldn’t be more excited (despite the website Baseball Reference predicting that the Yankees will be going 71 and 91 this season and finishing in last place in the A.L. East).
At 4 PM, the Yankees will take on the Astros in Houston. Nestor Cortes is the probable starter for the Yanks…as they look to get back to the postseason after missing the playoffs last year. It’s gonna be interesting to see how new Yankee outfielder and All-Star Juan Soto fits in. Can’t wait!

Meanwhile, both the Mets and Phillies games have already been rained out. Both games have been rescheduled for tomorrow. The Mets will go against the Brewers at Citi Field. We’ll see what kind of season Pete Alonso has as he enters the final year of his contract with the Mets.
