Have You Seen Me? Union Beach Pit bull Missing Since January
One local shore community is coming together to find a pit bull last seen in January.
Blu is a 9-year-old blue-nosed Pitbull who has been missing since January 17th. She is described as having grey fur with a white belly and wearing a reflective blue collar. She is described as being patient and gentle and usually sleeps with a pillow.
Missing since January 17th, she was last seen on the 500 Block of Clark Avenue in Union Beach. More people must keep an eye out for her because she is not microchipped.
There have been no additional sitings since then — and there is growing concern from the owners that she was taken. As of February 4th, additional flyers have been printed and the community is being asked for good posting locations.

At the time of this article, Blu’s Facebook group has over 3000 members and has been shared with multiple pages, including; Tri-County Scanner News, and New Jersey Lost Pets PawBooost Community. According to Blu’s family, there have been two separate instances of Pitbull’s being located, but they were not her.
A Cash reward is being offered for any information leading to her discovery. If you have any information you are asked to contact Kinara Maxwell at 917-526-3177. Alternatively, you can contact your local police department.
In a Facebook post, Chandra Maxwell, one of Blu’s owners, expressed her growing optimism.
“Without all of you sharing Bluâs story, my posts, other posts, Bluâs picture he might not of known about her. This is giving us so much hope. Please pray, send positive thoughts, and good vibrations. With more loving energy out there Blu will be returned.”
