Dave Grohl Surprises Nurse During Video Chat on ‘Kimmel’
Dave Grohl provided a very sweet moment on last night’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live! during the show’s #HealthCareHero segment.
Kimmel had on TJ Riley, an emergency and trauma nurse from Jacobi Medical Center in The Bronx, NY, who not only has been treating COVID-19 patients but also contracted the virus and overcame it. Riley is a big Foo Fighters fan and was given a massive surprise when Grohl popped up on the video chat to thank him for his work and performed the Foo Fighters classic “Everlong” for him.
Riley also received $10,000 and gift packages for every nurse in his department courtesy of Life is Good.
