Rat Rock Nation we pretty much all saw the Super Bowl and the well talented Rihanna halftime show as the Kamas City Chiefs took on the Philadelphia Eagles. It might have been one of the best Super Bowls that I’ve seen for sure. Here at the Rat we were at the one big party over at Bar A on 16th ave in Lake Como, and I definitely missed this performance.
Kansas City Chiefs did come out on top with the victory, and huge shout out to all those that routed and wanted them to win, but in this case I got to give this girl a huge shout out. Her name is Justina Miles and really got into it and really had just as much fun performing as Rihanna’s Super Bowl Halftime show.
As it turns out Justina Miles, happens to be a Philadelphia native and she is taking the internet by storm. Justina also is deaf herself, but that does not stop her and getting in on the fun. She appeared on the split screen down in Glendale Arizona at State Farm Stadium, and she is getting a lot of attention.
In her press conference before the game she described this performance as an important moment and just not for her but to share this experience with the whole world and brings empowerment to the million eyes on the big game. I like how she even said this ” I feel that is truly lifting in every voice and even in my own voice ”
It turns out that Justina Miles did a ASL performance of rap star Lil Kim and the song “Crush On You”. She is truly a huge hit on the stage and we invite you to check it out right here. Way to go Justina and keep us entertained. Thank you for reading as always rocking out with 95.9 The Rat.- Gotts
