Good morning, gang! Davey Mac here with another Sports Report for ya! NBA, NHL, NFL, and MLB are all covered! But first…get the Canyon of Heroes ready…the Knicks are gonna win the NBA Finals!
OK…maybe I’m getting a little ahead of myself…I apologize. I’m just excited because the Knicks won their eighth game in a row last night as the Knicks took down the Jazz…118 to 103…and currently have the best win streak in the NBA! The Knicks’ Donte DiVincenzo scored a career-high 33 points. Jalen Brunson added 29 points and 9 assists. The Knicks now are 31 and 17…a season-high 14 games over .500.

Meanwhile, the 76’ers lost to the Warriors…119 to 107. The 76’ers now drop to 29 and 17. What that means is that the Knicks have now taken the 3rd spot in the Eastern Conference from the Sixers…who actually fall to 5th in the East. Wow.

SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA – JANUARY 30: Joel Embiid #21 of the Philadelphia 76ers gets helped up from the floor by teammate Danuel House Jr. #25 and Draymond Green #23 of the Golden State Warriors during the second quarter at Chase Center on January 30, 2024 in San Francisco, California.
So what does this mean? Well, I’m interpreting this recent hot streak for the Knicks (and getting all the way to the 3rd spot in the East) as a sign from God that the team is winning it all this year. I know it sounds crazy…well…that’s because it is. But, I’ve been a Knicks fan my whole life…and I’ve still NEVER seen them win an NBA Championship. The last time the Knicks won the Finals was in 1973…before I was born…so it’s something I have still to witness.

And that’s why I’m all in on this team. They’re really, really good and they’re fun to watch, too. They have spirit and energy that we’ve been missing from Knicks teams for quite some time. Let’s go! The Knicks…2024 NBA Champions…sounds pretty good to me! I’m Davey Mac…now on to the rest of the Report!
