SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH - FEBRUARY 12: Stephen Curry #30 of the Golden State Warriors warms up before a game against the Utah Jazz at Delta Center on February 12, 2024 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Good morning, Sports fans!  Davey Mac here with a full-sized Sports Report for ya on a Thursday!  Basketball and hockey scores and match-ups!  The Chiefs give a contract extension!  Yankees manager Boone meets with the media!  And more…but first…

OK…this is one of the most insane basketball shots I have ever seen…you gotta see it.  Golden State Warriors megastar and one of the best players of his generation, Steph Curry, hit a full-court show from the TUNNEL in warm-ups.  Amazing.  Check this out…

Warriors on NBCS on Twitter: "THIS IS NOT A DRILL 🚨STEPH FULL-COURT TUNNEL SHOT 😱 pic.twitter.com/rWCfjq9Xxl / Twitter"

I mean…that’s it, folks.  I think that’s the single greatest trick shot of all time.  Take another look at the now legendary shot from another angle (Steph is in the lower left corner).  It almost looks like an optical illusion or CGI effect from Hollywood.  Incredible…

I mean…I can’t even think of a better REAL-LIFE trick shot…so…we gotta go back to the famous McDonald’s commercial with Michael Jordan and Larry Bird when they were playing a game of H.O.R.S.E.  But they obviously used edits for this fun ad.

Oh…by the way…in the game itself…Steph made NBA history by becoming the first player to make at least seven three-pointers in four consecutive games.  I mean…I don’t think there’s any debate left…Steph Curry is the greatest pure shooter of all time.

NBA on Twitter: "STEPH CURRY!The 1st player in NBA history to hit 7+ 3-pointers in 4 consecutive games 👏👨‍🍳LAC-GSW on ESPN pic.twitter.com/ieOjtNE0tL / Twitter"

When you factor in that Curry has been an NBA MVP and has won four NBA Championships…we are actually witnessing a living legend every time he steps onto the court.  And personally-speaking, I also enjoy Steph’ miniature golf show that he produces for ABC called Holy Moley…it’s a really fun program.  Regardless, congrats to Steph Curry on…well…just being awesome.  The y guy is super-fun to watch.  I’m Davey Mac…now on to the rest of the Report!
