Good morning, gang!   It’s Davey Mac here back with the first Sports Report of the week and we’re getting fired up today!   We’ve got the basketball, hockey, and baseball…but first!

I’ve been a New York Yankees fan my entire life.   My mom and her parents are from the Bronx…and my dad…who grew up in Nutley…were massive fans first.   My dad later got us season tickets from 1983 to 2008.   And that entire time we revered Yankee legends from the past like Babe Ruth, Joe DiMaggio, Lou Gehirig, Mickey Mantle, Don Mattingly, and Reggie Jackson.

Sadly…I’ve just learned that Reggie has quietly been working with the despised and hated (and dishonest) Houston Astros!   What the?!   Check this out!!

Apparently Reggie is friends with Astros owner Jim Crane and decided to take a job with the organization as a “special consultant.”   Number 44 most recently had been a special consultant to the Yankees.   But now…he’s with the scummy Astros!   And he’s even taken his Reggie Bars with him!   NO!!

Seriously–why, Reggie?!   WHY?!   You’re a Yankee legend and icon!   Get outta Houston already and come back to the Bronx where you belong!   This ain’t right!   I’m Davey Mac…that’s my Sports Two Cents!
