Good morning, Sports fans and freaks! It’s your unstable ambassador of athletics…Davey Mac…back with another Sports Report that is promised to keep you informed and possibly entertained! Hey, I said POSSIBLY! We’ve got the baseball and the basketball! The football and hockey! But first! Aaron Rodgers Watch continues as we have new info to report!

Rodgers did The Pat McAfee Show yesterday and he stated that his intention is to play for the Jets next year. Rodgers essentially said that he is done playing football in Green Bay…and that he believes the the Packers “would like to move on” as well. Rodgers expressed to the Jets brass that indeed he would like to play for them when they visited his house recently. Check out the clip…

So this thing just has to get finalized! Jets owner Woody Johnson needs to do EVERYTHING he can at this point to get Rodgers on the team. While it sounds like everyone is on the same page…the Packers may try to hold up the Jets for more draft picks, or capital, or a player or two. The Jets are just gonna need to give the Packers whatever they want at this point. The fans will not accept it if Woody and the Jets management blow this and let Rodgers slip away.

But, if you’re a Jets fan, this is overall a positive day. Rodgers made it clear that he wants to play football in 2023…and that he wants to play for the Jets. It’s just a matter of getting the deal done. I’m Davey Mac…that’s my Sports Two Cents.
