What a *bleeping* game between the Knicks and 76ers!

The Knicks beat the Sixers in an absolute classic to take Game 2 of their First Round series…Knicks 104, Sixers 101. The Knicks were trailing by five points with 40 seconds to go when they scored eight unanswered points in the last 28 seconds…including three-pointers from Jalen Brunson and then Donte DiVincenzo on a WILD loose-ball play that somehow saw the ball wind up in DiVincenzo’s hands…and DiVincenzo then hit a go-ahead three-pointer that blew the roof off of the Garden.
The 76’ers still only trailed by one point with 13 seconds to go. Tyrese Maxey, who had a tremendous game with 35 points, took it to the hoop for the win…but his shot was blocked brilliantly by Isaiah Hartenstein…who had a great night with 14 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 blocks.
The Sixers Joel Embiid…who was great with 34 points…had a chance to tie the game with a three…but he was off…and that was that. Knicks win. And again, the Garden went nuts!
Incredible game. Jalen Brunson had 24 points, Josh Hart had 21, and Donte DiVincenzo had 19…as the Villanova Big 3 continue to produce for the Knicks. Philly’s Joel Embiid and Maxey had great games…scoring 34 and 35 points respectively…but it was not enough. The Knicks take a two games to none lead with Game 3 in Philly on Thursday. In other NBA Postseason action…the Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the Orlando Magic…96 to 86. Donovan Mitchell had 23 for the Cavs in the win as Cleveland takes a two games to none lead.

Rangers Vs. Caps Tonight
Over to hockey. As tonight it’s the Rangers turn to continue to keep Madison Square Garden rocking…as the Garden is 3 and 0 so far in the playoffs. The Rangers take on the Capitals with a one game to none lead…the puck drops at 7 PM (EST).

Baseball. The Yankees lost to the A’s yesterday…two to nothing. Tough break for Yankee starter Carlos Rodon…as he threw seven innings of shutout baseball and only gave up the one hit. But in the top of the ninth inning…the Yankee bullpen allowed Oakland to score and that was that. Weird incident happened as Aaron Boone was mistakenly ejected by the umpire for something the fan behind him said.
Meanwhile, the Mets were defeated by the San Francisco Giants…5 to 2. Met starter Jose Quintana receives the loss.

Jets Trade Zach Wilson
Football. The Jets have done it! Zach Wilson is a member of Gang Green no more! That’s right, Jets fans! Zach Wilson is being traded! The Jets will receive a sixth-round selection (No. 203) in this week’s NFL draft from the Broncos, who in addition to Wilson will get a seventh-round pick (No. 256). The Jets and Broncos are splitting the $5.5 million Wilson is due this season with each team paying $2.75 million.
