Aaron Rodgers making headlines...what does he have to say about Zach Wilson and the Jets? How did the Knicks do against the Bucks in their NBA Cup matchup? The Yankees just traded for a Red Sock! We'll tell ya who it is! But first...

...I'm sorry...I know this is juvenile...but it's funny. During a post-game media scrum Tampa Bay Lightning goalie Andrei Vasilevskiy, who had just recorded his 33rd career shutout in a great game, was answering questions when someone...um...cut the cheese. And while Vasilevskiy tried at first to power through the sound of flatulence...ultimately...he succumbed to the comedic power of the fart and broke out in laughter.
Needless to say...the Internet was gonna let the jokes fly as hard as the fart itself. I mean...and I'm sorry for admitting this, I really am...but unexpected audible gas at a press conference, media scrum, wedding, court case, mass, etc. is ALWAYS funny!
In any event...congrats to Vasilevskiy for stopping 25 of 25 shots last night and also for attempting to keep a straight face during a fart noise. You tried your best, Andrei. That's all you can do. Now, on to the rest of the Sports Report!

Baseball. The Yankees have acquired outfielder Alex Verdugo in a rare trade between the Yanks and Red Sox. Verdugo hit .264 with 13 home runs in 142 games last year with Boston. Still no word on the Yankees getting Juan Soto…but gm Brian Cashman has let it known that the Yankees want Soto…but San Diego is asking for too steep a price right now.
