Good morning, Sports fans! Davey Mac here with a fresh Sports Report for ya! We’ve got news on the baseball front…basketball and hockey scores…plus a preview of the final week of the NFL regular season. But first…
According to an article from Yahoo, Miami Dolphins superstar wide receiver Tyreek Hill’s major house fire was caused by a child playing with a cigarette lighter in one of the bedrooms.
Authorities say that the fire was an accident and that fortunately no injuries were caused. Though Hill’s house has suffered major damages. He received tons of support from his teammates and coaches publicly yesterday as he’s going through this difficult experience.
Dolphins Offensive Coordinator Frank Smith had this to say about Tyree: “First thing that goes through my mind is hope everyone’s okay and everything goes well.” Hill was not at Dolphins practice on Thursday for obvious reasons.
We hope that Tyreek and his family are OK. That fire looked pretty scary…so we’re relieved that Hill, his family, and his pets are all alright. That’s a very upsetting situation…but as long as no one is harmed…well…that’s the most important thing. As far as football goes, we don’t know yet if Hill will be on the field this Sunday against the Bills. I’m Davey Mac…now on to the Scoreboard!
