Good morning, Sports fans!   It’s your pal Davey Mac here with a no-holds-barred Sports Report for ya this morning!    The NBA and NHL playoffs are heating up and the MLB season is in full swing!   But first!

Did you see that Pro Bowl quarterback Aaron Rodgers arrived in New Jersey yesterday to meet with his new team, the Jets, and the media?   Rodgers was all smiles when he got to the Garden State.

Rodgers held up his new Number 8 jersey (he wore No. 12 with the Packers) and answered some questions.  Rodgers mentioned the Jets’ only Lombardi Trophy in the lobby, saying it’s “looking a little lonely.”

Rodgers went on to say that he’s not there to make the playoffs…quote…“We want to win the whole thing.”   BAM!   Looks like Aaron is all in!   It’s Super Bowl or bust!

In any event…give Jets general manager Joe Douglas credit.   Douglas was sure that the deal would get done and it did.   The Jets are gonna be for real this year.   Will they win it all?   Time will tell.   But for now…the excitement is off the charts.   I’m Davey Mac…that’s my two cents!
