Good morning, Sports fans! Davey Mac here with your first Sports Report of the week! We’ve got scores, news, and…um…a new Yankee “signing.” But first! We’ve got some seriously good audio (and video) that you rarely get access to as a fan. The Los Angeles Lakers were playing the Houston Rockets when Rockets head coach Ime Udoka criticized LeBron James for complaining too much during the game.

LeBron shot back at Udoka…and then it was on. Udoka challenged LeBron and ended up calling him a “soft ass boy.” WOW! You never heard that kind of thing about Jordan or Bird or Magic when they were on the court. Check out the video below.
So, was Udoka right or wrong for going after LeBron? Should megastars who bring a lot of eyeballs (and money) to the NBA be talked to differently by coaches? Or is it all part of the game? I don’t know…but I’m sure LeBron isn’t gonna be sending Udoka a holiday present any time soon! And now on to the Scoreboard!

Jets Lose To Atlanta As Offense Struggles Again
Let’s start with football…as the Jets lost to the Falcons…13 to 8…and yet again it’s about the offense. Tim Boyle struggled…only throwing for 148 yards, 0 touchdowns, and one interception. The Jets drop to 4 and 8. After the game…head coach Robert Saleh looked practically despondent and certainly at a loss for words. Might be time for him to go.

Eagles Dominated By San Fran
Meanwhile, the Eagles got surprisingly crushed by the 49’ers…42 to 19. San Fran’s Brock Purdy threw for 314 yards, four touchdowns, and no picks. The Niners improve to 9 and 3. Philly falls to 10 and 2.

Bengals Vs. Jags On 'MNF'
The Giants were on a bye this week. This evening, on Monday Night Football, the Bengals (5 and 6) play the Jaguars (8 and 3) in Jacksonville. Kickoff time is 8:15.

Knicks Play In NBA Quarterfinals On Tuesday
Basketball. The Knicks, Nets and 76’ers were all inactive yesterday. The Knicks next play on Tuesday when they face the Bucks in the quarterfinals of this NBA Cup. The Knicks advanced from their group to take on Giannis and Milwaukee. The winner of the NBA Cup gets a Wild Card spot.

Rangers Outscore Sharks
Hockey. The Rangers beat the Sharks…6 to 5. Artemi Panarin recorded a hat trick for the Rangers in the win. Panarin had three goals and an assist as the Rangers improve to 18-4-1 for the season.

Yankees Sign Outfielder
Baseball. The Yankees have signed outfielder Oscar Gonzalez. Gonzalez played last season with Cleveland where he hit .214 with two home runs in 54 games. Great signing, Brian Cashman!
