Good morning, Sports fans! Davey Mac here with a scintillating edition of the Sports Report for ya! Basketball and hockey scores…NFL controversy after the Super Bowl…and a baseball superstar is ready for Spring! But first…
The Knicks have filed a protest with the NBA to dispute the 105-103 loss to the Houston Rockets on Monday night. The Knicks cited the NBA’s Last Two Minute Report where the referee crew chief Ed Malloy acknowledged that the foul call on Knicks guard Jalen Brunson against the Rockets’ Aaron Holiday inside the final second was incorrectly called.
Now, in this writer’s humble and sane opinion…THE KNICKS GOT (BLEEP)ING SCREWED BY THESE DIMWITTED, GOOD-FOR-NOTHING, MORONIC REFS!!
…Ok…fine…maybe that wasn’t the most sane statement. Apologies. But the reason I’m so angry about this call is because this is not the same dreadful Knicks team that we’ve been accustomed to watching these past two decades. This Knicks team is really good. And they are simply not getting the respect of the refs that they have earned.
Come on, NBA Referees…give the Knicks the credit and respect they have earned these last two seasons. This is a playoff team and one of the up-and-coming teams in the East. And Jalen Brunson is an MVP candidate this year. Make the right calls for the Knicks already! I’m Davey Mac…now on to the Scoreboard!
