…The New York Jets won their final game of the regular season over the embattled New England Patriots yesterday…17 to 3. The Jets’ Breece Hall carried the ball 37 times for 178 yards, and a touchdown. The Jets finish up at 7 and 10. The Patriots…who end up 4 and 13…may fire Bill Belichick. Word on the street is that Patriots owner Robert Kraft may be getting tired of Belichick and could be looking to make a change after Belichick has gone 12 and 22 in the last two seasons.

The question is: will Belichick get fired by Kraft? And if he does…should the Jets take a chance on him? It seems that Gang Green may want to move on from their current regime of head coach Robert Saleh and general manager Joe Douglas. So would Belichick’s return to the Jets (where he was defensive coordinator under Bill Parcells) lead the team to the Super Bowl? Before and after yesterday’s game, he had what seemed to be friendly conversations with Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers…so maybe there’s something there!

Giants Beat Eagles
Meanwhile, the Giants beat the Eagles in their regular season finale…27 to 10. The Giants’ Tyrod Taylor threw for 297 yards, one touchdown, and one interception…Saquon Barkley rushed for two touchdowns…as their Giants end their season at 6 and 11. Disappointing year for the G-Men. Meanwhile, the Eagles will drop to 11 and 6 and they will be the 5th seed in the NFC playoffs where they will take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this weekend.

Over to basketball…where the Nets lost to the Trail Blazers yesterday…134 to 127. The Nets drop to 16 and 21.

Knicks Have Won Four In A Row
The Knicks have won four in a row…as the Knicks defeated the Wizards on Saturday…121 to 105. Julius Randle had 39 points and Jalen Brunson had 33. The Knicks are now 21 and 15.
