I was so excited when I heard of these 5 Holiday Bazaars coming to the Jersey Shore just in time for the Holiday shopping season!

Then I was like, “what the heck is a Bazaar anyway”? Well, according to Wikipedia, a traditional Bazaar “is a marketplace consisting of multiple small stalls or shops, especially in the Middle East, North Africa, and India. However, temporary open markets elsewhere, such as in the West, might also designate themselves as bazaars”. Here in the United States it’s similar, with Holiday crafters selling their in many cases, homemade wares that you wouldn’t be able to find in your local retail store, or are not willing to search for on the internet.

The Holiday Bazaars start soon!

The Holiday Bazaars at the Jersey Shore start as early as Black Friday, November 25, and some run every weekend through December 18th, just a week before Christmas. The Bazaars are mostly centered in Monmouth County. However, one of the Bazaars will be held in Atlantic City! So maybe you win a little money at the slots, and spend it at the Bazaar! Why not! All of the events will be takin place in the daytime hours, mostly between 12 noon and 6pm. You can check each venue’s schedule below for specific dates and times.

Bring the kids, and your appetite when you go!

In addition to handcrafted goods and unique holiday gifts by local and regional artisans, the Holiday Bazaars will have kids activities, craft workshops, festive decorations, live holiday music and entertainment. There will also be vendors selling food and libations to really get you into the Holiday spirit! So before you log on and drop some coin, or go to the big box stores, really shop local this holiday season by checking out these Holiday Bazaars filling the Jersey Shore with that holiday spirit!

Oh, and don’t forget, you may see the big guy in red at any of these places at any moment!
