Good morning, Sports fans! Davey Mac here (on my birthday, by the way) with a new, fresh Sports Report for ya! We’ve got the scores to catch you up on the Sports! But first!
The city of Philadelphia’s long nightmare is finally over…the unhappy James Harden has finally been traded by the 76’ers (to the L.A. Clippers) after months of feuding. Specifically, Harden called Sixers president Daryl Morey a “liar” and said he would never play for Morey again. Harden felt like Morey promised Harden a big contract extension but never delivered.

People in the Sixers camp must be pleased that this extended drama is finally over…as Harden had been publicly taking shots at Morey and the Sixers organization and had frequently expressed his discontentment with the situation. The entire story has become a huge distraction. Sixers star center Joel Embiid has apparently not been thrilled with Harden’s behaviorand this trade probably helps the big guy’s morale.

All in all…James Harden in Philadelphia just didn’t work out…similar to his time in Brooklyn, and Houston, and Oklahoma City before that. The Clippers wil get a talented player…but he can be a bit of a headache. I’m Davey Mac…that’s my two cents!
