The 2024 NFL Draft Begins This Evening
…Tonight is the NFL Draft! The New York Giants are at #6…let’s see what happens. The New York Jets first-round pick is at #10…the Philadelphia Eagles are at #22. Questions: will the Giants draft a quarterback? Will GM Joe Schoen trade up for a better spot? With the Jets: what are their primary needs? And will the Eagles do anything with their pick? We’ve got TONS of questions…like will Michigan Wolverines star quarterback J.J. McCarthy be a Giant? After coming off winning the College Football National Championship, McCarthy is certainly a hot prospect. He made an appearance on The Rich Eisen Show and suggested that he thinks he’s going to the G-Men! See the clip below!
Could This Happen For The Giants?
Wow! Is it possible that Giants general manager Joe Schoen will be drafting McCarthy? With the Giants selecting at number six in the First Round, many football experts seem to think that McCarthy will be gone from the Draft Board by the time the Giants have their pick. So, if Schoen truly wants McCarthy, he’s gonna have to make a deal. Crazy!

As for current Giants quarterback Daniel Jones…his days may be numbered. Even if the Giants draft McCarthy, it doesn’t necessarily mean the G-Men will release or trade Jones. They could decide to let Daniel play this year and have McCarthy observe in a backup capacity. In any event…it will be interesting to watch! I’m Davey Mac…now on to the rest of the Sports Report!

Judge & Rizzo Homer In Yanks Win
Baseball…where the Yankees took down the A’s last night…7 to 3…as the Yanks take two outta three against Oakland. Aaron Judge had two hits including a home run. Juan Soto and Anthony Rizzo also homered as well…as the Yanks improve to 17 and 8.

Knicks Vs. Sixers TONIGHT
Over to the NBA Postseason. The Celtics lost to the Heat…111 to 101…as that series is now tied at one game apiece. Tyler Herro had 24 points and 14 assists for Miami in the win.
The Thunder dominated the Pelicans…124 to 92. Shae Gilgeous-Alexander had 33 points for OKC in the victory as the Thunder are now two games to none.
TONIGHT…it’s Game 3 between the Knicks and 76’ers in Philadelphia! Tip-off is at 7:30 PM. The Knicks lead the series…two games to none.
