Good morning, buddies! Davey Mac here with a fresh Sports Report for ya this morning! We’ve got basketball news…football back tomorrow…tennis update…and a fun story with Eli and Peyton Manning! But first…
…Did you see the Yankees’ game last night? If not…you missed Giancarlo Stanton hitting his 400th career home run in what was a pretty special moment.
Stanton’s home run actually broke the tie and put the Yankees ahead…so it was clutch in addition to being historic. Check out the clip below.

Another cool thing that happened was that Yankee rookie Anthony Volpe called a timeout so that Stanton could be honored with a curtain call by the fans. Classy move by Volpe! And the Yankee fans delivered!

The Yankees social media congratulated Stanton as well. It’s a huge milestone to get to. In fact, Stanton becomes the fourth youngest player ever to get to 400 career homers…only behind Mark McGwire, Babe Ruth, and Alex Rodriguez. Amazing!
400 Big Ones for Big G.

So a big congratulations to Giancarlo Stanton. The only question is: is he a Hall Of Famer yet? Or does he have to get to 500 home runs (or more)? He’s been an MVP with the Marlins and a pretty clutch player for the Yankees. Yes, he’s been injury-plagued. But, when healthy Stanton usually delivers. In any event, congrats Big G! You’re the man!
