Good morning, you rabid and fantastic Sports fans! It’s your ambassador of athletics here…Davey Mac…and today’s Report is jam-packed with action on the field!
But before we get to the Scoreboard…if you’re a Yankees fan…you’re waking up whistling…the sun is shining…the Universe is smiling.
Because ace Gerrit Cole delivered the biggest start of his Yankee career and earned his pinstripes in the process. Seven innings…110 pitches…picking up the desperately-need ‘W.’
Meanwhile, Yankee outfielder Harrison Bader continues to impress as Bader slugged his third home run of the series…helping the Yanks get out to a 3 to nothing lead.
Bader is hitting .286 in the series with three homers and four RBI’s. He’s been good.
The bullpen did their job as well. And with the Yanks getting clutch hits last night as well…it was a very balanced and excellent victory in an elimination game.
The Yankees now have a decisive Game 5 tonight at Yankee Stadium. The Cleveland Guardians will bring their A-game. But the mojo is with the Yanks. If they can win this evening…this could be a magical postseason. But it starts tonight. Go Yankees!
