Good morning! Davey Mac back with another Sports Report for ya! Basketball is officially back, baby! The World Series starts soon! NFL tonight! Hockey scores! And more! But first!
We’ve got some breaking news out of the world of Major League Baseball. Longtime manager Dusty Baker has retired after a Hall Of Fame as a manager. Baker won over 2,000 games in his legendary career with the San Francisco Giants, Chicago Cubs, Cincinnati Reds, Washington Nationals, and Houston Astros.

Baker is the only manager in baseball history to lead five different teams to a division title. He’s just the ninth manager to win the American League AND National League pennant. And he’s the oldest manager to win a World Series.

Baker finally got his Championship ring last year as manager of the Houston Astros. And though I despise the Astros (as a Yankees fan) I have nothing but respect and admiration for Baker. He’s a class act…and an all-time manager. He’ll be enshrined in Cooperstown in five years (mark may words). Congrats, Dusty, on the great career! Now on to the Scoreboard!
