Hart this to say about why he chose to honor the Foos with his mask: “Foo Fighters are a band that I really liked and it’s my dad’s favorite band.   When we were going to hockey in the car when I was younger, he would blast the song ‘The Pretender’ in his truck, and so that would get me fired up before the game. I wanted to do that obviously for him and then obviously with Taylor Hawkins passing away, I thought it’d be a nice tribute to the band and to Taylor.”

Really cool stuff, Carter Hart!   While I’m a Devils fan…I’m pulling for this young man to do well in the goal!   I’m Davey Mac…that’s my two cents!

  • Georgia Wins Football Champioship

We had the College Championship Game last night and it was historic…a historic beat-down, that is…as Georgia destroyed TCU…65 to 7.   The Number One Bulldogs cemented their legacy as one of the greatest college teams ever…back-to-back championships (just the 4th team since 1990 to do so)…and this year they finish with a record of 15 and 0.   Quarterback Stetson Bennett had an amazing game…as Bennett threw for four touchdowns and ran for two touchdowns.   Great season for TCU…but their Cinderella story ended last night.   Congrats to Georgia on a remarkable year in College Football.   Champions.
