Good morning, Sports fans and Athletics advocates!   It’s your brilliant commentator Davey Mac here…back with another Sports Report for ya!   Bill Belichick is cheating again!   NBA and NHL playoffs!   Pete Alonso!   And more!   But first!

Oh my goodness…but our worst fears may be getting realized.   The Boston Celtics trailed the Miami in the Eastern Conference Finals…three games to none.   The series looked over.   The Celtics were supposed to wave the white flag in Game 4.   Instead…they won that matchup…and then they went out and won Game 5 last night.   Uh-oh.

Now…in NBA history…there have been 150 times where a team has gone down 0-3…and in all 150 instances the team lost.   That same stat used to exist in the MLB…until the Boston Red Sox came back from 0-3 to beat the Yankees in the 2004 American League Championship Series.   Uh-oh.

Oh…and then there’s that Boston favorite named Tom Brady…you know the quarterback for the New England Patriots….the same team that has the single BIGGEST comeback in the history of the Super Bowl.   Uh-oh.

Oh…and in case you were thinking that this is a new thing…let’s not forget about Doug Flutie…who completed one of the greatest Hail Mary’s in the history of college (or pro, for that matter) football.   Remember what team Flutie played for?   BOSTON College!!  UH-OH!!

I miss the days of Bill Buckner…when Boston was more known as a Sports City that choked with a capital “C.”   These come-from-behind Boston teams are just killing me.   I’m Davey Mac…that’s my two cents!
