Good morning, Sports fans!   It’s your boy Davey Mac here and we’ve got a big-time Sports Report for ya today!   The NBA and NHL playoffs are ratcheting up!   The PGA Championship is later this week!   Fun NFL story!   And more…but first!

Phillie superstar Bryce Harper was ejected after sticking up for his teammate against Colorado Rockies pitcher Jake Bird.   Harper felt that Bird was disrespecting the Phillies after Bird recorded an out and then looked into the Phillie dugout demonstratively.    Check out the video(s) below.

You know…looking at the disgrace that was the 76’ers Vs. Celtics series in which the Sixers choked in Games 6 and 7 and essentially blew the series…it’s actually refreshing to see a Philly athlete show a little heart.   God knows James Harden didn’t show any yesterday.

Bryce Harper has really become an incredible player for the Phils.   He is a bonified MLB superstar…but he also has embraced the city of Philadelphia and the spirited way in which athletes should compete.   I’ve got no issue with Harper going after this Rockies pitcher.   That’s the kind of thing that would have gotten the Sixers to the NBA Finals.   I’m Davey Mac…that’s my two cents!

  • Sixers Crushed By Celtics In Game 7
