Good morning, Sports fans! Davey Mac here with the final Sports Report for the week! Baseball playoffs are in full swing! Basketball news! Football matchups! And more! But first…
…This is rather interesting. Legendary sportscaster Al Michaels stated recently that he has never knowingly eaten a vegetable. In fact, he hates them. HATE. Carrots? Forget about it. Al Michaels will tell you what you can do with that carrot. He’s in no mood. Check out this great clip…
Hey, don’t forget…this is the same Al Michaels who called the “Miracle On Ice” in 1980 when the Americans beat the Russians in the Winter Olympics in hockey. The same Al Michaels who was present at the World Series in 1989 in San Francisco when there was an earthquake. And the same Al Michaels who appeared in BASEketball.

OK, that last one is a bit of a joke (though I actually love that movie). Anyway, if Al Michaels doesn’t think vegetables are good…who am I to argue…the man’s a sports icon. And honestly, I’m more of a burger and Doritos guy myself. I guess I’m with Al. I mean…would I rather eat Sour Patch Kids or a piece of celery? Gimme the candy every time! Screw you, vegetables! If Al Michaels says I don’t need to eat ’em…I ain’t eating ’em! I’m Davey Mac…and now on to the Scoreboard!
