Jets QB Aaron Rodgers says that the Jets need to, quote, “Flush the B.S.” next year if they want to be successful. “Anything in this building that we’re doing individually or collectively that has nothing to do with real winning needs to be assessed.”

Um…excuse me…but isn’t Aaron Rodgers the Number One distraction that the Jets currently have? This year he’s started feuds with Travis Kelce, Jimmy Kimmel, the Jets organization itself, and more. Meanwhile, he likes to give out-there conspiracy theories about society. I mean…with all due respect…I never saw Johnny Unitas or Bart Starr rant about the Illuminati…that was Rodgers himself.

The bottom line is that Rodgers needs to look in the mirror and realize that HE is the distraction! YOU’RE the problem, pal! I mean…this is like Darth Vader telling people to “stop being evil” or Hannibal Lecter giving folks dietary advice. It doesn’t work. Coaching Firings In The NFL
Staying with football…as we had some coaching shake-ups in the NFL yesterday. First of all, the Giants fired offensive line coach Bobby Johnson and special teams coach Thomas McGaughey. As far as head coaches go, the Washington Commanders have fired Ron Rivera and the Atlanta Falcons have fired Arthur Smith.

Michigan Beats Washington To Become College Football Champs
The Michigan Wolverines are your College Football Champions…as Michigan took down the Washington Huskies in the National Championship game last night…34 to 13. Michigan running back Blake Corum rand for 134 yards and two touchdowns in the game…and the Wolverine defense intercepted Washington QB Michael Penix Jr. twice…as controversial coach Jim Harbaugh (who was suspended for six games this season) has won his championship at last. Harbaugh’s brother, Jon Harbaugh, incidentally has won a Super Bowl as head coach of the Baltimore Ravens…pretty incredible. Michigan finishes the season at 15 and 0. Congrats, Wolverines…what a year!

Over to hockey. The Rangers lost to the Canucks last night…6 to 3. The Rangers drop to 26-11-2.

The Flyers fell to the Penguins…4 to 1. The Flyers drop to 20-14-6 for the season.
