MIAMI, FLORIDA - FEBRUARY 02: Patrick Mahomes #15 of the Kansas City Chiefs throws a pass against the San Francisco 49ers during the fourth quarter in Super Bowl LIV at Hard Rock Stadium on February 02, 2020 in Miami, Florida.

Good morning, gang!   It’s Davey Mac here back with an epic Sports Report for ya!   We’ve got some baseball hot stove, NBA, and NHL updates…but first!

It’s all about the football, baby!  And that’s because the Big Game is set and it’ll be the Kansas City Vs. San Francisco in a rematch from 2020.  Last night the San Fran beat Detroit in the Championship…34 to 31. The Niners’ Christian McCaffrey ran for 90 yards and two touchdowns.  San Fran QB Brock Purdy threw for 267 yards, one touchdown, one interception…Purdy also ran for 48 yards. Tough loss for Detroit…Lions head coach Dan Campbell and company had a 17-point lead at one point but that was squandered. Campbell could have also kicked a couple of field goals but went for it on 4th down and was denied both times. Great season for the Lions still…but it’s the Niners on February 11th.

Mahomes threw for 241 yards, one touchdown, and no interceptions. Amazing…as Mahomes gets to his 4th game in years! So…it’s Chiefs Vs. the Niners in what should be a great game!
