Good morning, Sports fans!   Davey Mac back with another action-packed Sports Report for ya!   Baseball, basketball, and football all in play!   But first!

Where have you gone, Aaron Judge, a fan base turns its lonely eyes to you!   OK, fine, maybe I’m slightly changing the lyrics to Simon & Garfunkel’s “Mrs. Robinson” but the sentiment remains the same!   Where is the Yankee captain?

Judge crashed through the wall in L.A. recently in a game versus the Dodgers.   But at the time, the Yankees described it as a mild injury that he can come back quickly from.

However, he was are 11 days later…and Yankee fans haven’t seen big Number 99 since that game!   What the poop is going on here?!   Aaron Boone didn’t make fans feel much better when he said this recently: “I’m almost in your same boat, I want to know. But it is an unknown right now about when he’s able to do things.”

New York Yankees v Seattle Mariners

So here’s what I’m suggesting, Yankee fans…hear me out.   The Yanks need to contact Walter Sobchak…military veteran…mercenary…bowler.   If there’s one person who can get Aaron Judge a new toe…it’s Walter!   Hell…he can get Judge a toe by three o’clock!   Until then…it’s nervous time for fans of the Bronx Bombers!     I’m Davey Mac…that’s my two cents!

  • Mets Beat Yanks In Game 2 Of Subway Series

the Mets beat the Yankees in another great game at Citi Field…4 to 3.   It started as a pitcher’s duel as both Justin Verlander and Gerrit Cole each went six innings, only giving up one run.   But the with the game tied at 3 apiece in the bottom of the tenth, the Mets won on a Brandon Nimmo double which scored the inherited runner Eduardo Escobar.   So the Yankees and Mets end up splitting the Subway Series at one game each.   The Yanks are 39 and 30.   The Mets are 32 and 36.
