Good morning, Sports fans!  It’s Davey Mac here and we’ve got a large-and-in-charge Sports Report for ya!  We’re rocking and rolling with all kinds of athletics including the baseball!  The basketball!  The football!  And the hockey!  But first…

…Scandal with the Giants!  Right tackle Evan Neal says that the fans who criticize him probably “flip hot dogs and hamburgers somewhere.”  Neal also says some of the Giants fans are “fair weather” and “bandwagons” for booing the team when things aren’t going well.  Neal did apologize later…but some were wondering if that was the team’s decision: “I am wrong for lashing out at the fans who are just as passionate and frustrated as I am.”

NFC Divisional Playoffs - New York Giants v Philadelphia Eagles

Personally speaking as a big-time Giants fan…I think Neal is outta line with these comments.  The fact is, the man plays in the New York/New Jersey market…what does he expect when the team gets out to a 1 and 3 start and loses to the Cowboys in Week 1 by the score of 40 to nothing?!  Are we supposed to be cool with this?!

Also…not for nothing…but Neal was a first round draft pick by the Giants a year ago and, quite frankly, has not played up to his selection.  He shouldn’t be pointing fingers…he should be examining himself and his play on the field.  No bueno.

In any event…hopefully Giants head coach Brian Daboll gave Neal a bity of a talking to because this is ridiculous.  Hey, Evan Neal, you don’t wanna get booed?  PLAY BETTER!  I’m Davey Mac…that’s my two cents!
