These videos are absolutely awesome!   Check out these tremendous old school clips from the ’80’s of the legendary Palace Amusements in Asbury Park.

This really gets those nostalgia fires burning.   My grandma and grandpa moved from the Bronx, NY to Asbury in 1968…and the most special place on Earth to me, as a kid, was Palace Amusements.

It’s weird because I watch these fantastic retro movies and they make me feel like I was just there.   I can still remember what Palace Amusements sounded and smelled like.

I also remember how dark it was inside…I don’t think that’s the ’80’s quality film…it always seemed to bit lit darkly…but that only added to the mystery and fun of the place.

I really do miss Palace Amusements.   Having kids now…I wish I could bring them to this magical spot.   So enjoy these videos…they bring back some great memories!
