All About The Mets
Let’s start with baseball…where the Mets split a doubleheader with the Tigers yesterday…but finally got their first win of the season…so that’s good. In Game 1, they lost in extra innings to Detroit…6 to 3. Met pitcher Michael Tonkin received the loss.

But in Game 2, they won 2 to 1. Pete Alonso tied up the game in the 9th inning with his 2nd home run of the season. And Met outfielder Tyrone Taylor singled home the winning run to walk it off for the team…who ended the day at 1 and 5.
