Good morning, movie fans!  Davey Mac here with a strong recommendation for ya...if you subscribe to Disney Plus...you have to see the brand new Harrison Ford documentary.  It's awesome.

It's called Timeless Heroes: Indiana Jones & Harrison Ford and it tells the story of Harrison's entire career, with an obvious focus on his time as Indy.  This release comes in conjunction with the fifth Indy film, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, becoming now available on Disney Plus.

The doc really rocks.  You get excellent interviews from Steven Spielberg, George Lucas, Karen Allen, and more.  You get to observe Ford's transition from being a successful carpenter in the L.A. area to becoming one of the biggest box office stars of all time.

We learn how Ford landed the roles as Han Solo in Star Wars and Raiders Of The Lost Ark...we get to view some fantastic vintage footage of Harrison on the set of the Indy movies...and we see how he stayed relevant and extremely successful after all these years.

Check out the trailer for this outstanding documentary and then scroll down for Harrison Ford's Top 7 Performances!  With clips!  Enjoy!

7.) 42

Personally-speaking, I was hoping Harrison would get an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actor as he's excellent as Brooklyn Dodgers general manager Branch Rickey, opposite the late great Chadwick Boseman who was spectacular as Jackie Robinson.  The Oscar nom never came...but who cares...the movie and Ford are terrific.

6.) Patriot Games

Ford delivers a powerful performance as C.I.A. analyst Jack Ryan in this really cool mystery movie about an Irish terrorist organization going after important British politicians and Royal family members.

5.) Witness

The movie that earned Harrison is one and only Oscar nomination (for Best Actor), Witness delivers an incredible performance from Ford.

4.) The Fugitive

A tremendous movie (nominated for Best Picture and winner of Best Supporting Actor for Tommy Lee Jones), The Fugitive has intrigue, unbelievable action, a great story, and an amazing performance from Harrison.

3.) Bladerunner

One of the coolest and greatest Science Fiction movies of all time...this dark film noir set in a dystopian future (directed by the great Ridley Scott) showcases Ford as an excellent dramatic actor.

2.) The Empire Strikes Back

Come on.  You know Han Solo has to be high on this list.  But for Ford's best performance as Han...I go with The Empire Strikes back over Star Wars and Return Of The Jedi.  In Empire, Ford is funny, fearless, brave, and simply awesome.

1.) Raiders Of The Lost Ark

The movie that made Harrison into a household name and movie megastar, Raiders Of The Lost Ark is quite simply film-making at its finest.  Produced by George Lucas and directed by Steven Spielberg, Raiders is practically perfect...and so is Harrison.  He contributed many ideas and lines of dialogue to Indy and ended up creating one of the greatest and most iconic in movie history.
