Good morning, gang. It’s Davey Mac here and we’ve got a big Sports Report for ya this morning. But first…some sad news. Legendary Pittsburgh Steeler running back has died at the age of 72.
Franco Harris was a huge part of the amazing 1970’s Steelers who won four Super Bowls. Of course, Franco is also notably known for his role in the “Immaculate Reception”…one of the greatest and most-talked-about plays in NFL Postseason history.
Sadly, this news comes literally days before the Steelers were going to retire Franco’s number 32 as they were going to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the “Immaculate Reception” this Sunday.
