Good morning, Sports fans! Davey Mac here with a fun and full-sized Sports Report for ya on a Thursday! Today we’re talking football…the Giants have a hold out! We’re chatting hockey…who won last night? We’re looking at basketball…the New York Knicks and Philadelphia 76’ers match up for an epic Game 6 TONIGHT in Philly! But first…we’re discussing baseball…because a pretty funny thing happened recently at Citi Field during a New York Mets Vs. Chicago Cubs game.
Tuesday was apparently $1 hot dog night at Citi Field and, according to Barstool Sports, one Mets fan showed up in a hot dog hat and a white t-shirt, where he used a Sharpie to keep track of how many dogs he ate during the game. When people found out, they started cheering “one more dog” and at him.
He was also using his shirt to track how many beers he drank. It was all in good fun, but security got worried it might get dangerous. So they ended up escorting him out of the stadium. Someone saw him on the subway on their ride home. He looked very full and not sober.
I’m sorry but I’m for the Hot Dog Guy! He shouldn’t have been ejected from Citi Field! It’s not his fault people started pelting him with dogs! Quite frankly, I’m glad the Mets were playing the Cubs…because this guy is better than Abe Fromam, the Sausage King of Chicago! I’m sorry, Citi Field, this man is a hero…not a trouble-maker! I mean…he ate nine hot dogs and drank ten beers…this dude is the reincarnation of Babe Ruth, methinks! I’m Davey Mac…now on to the rest of the Sports Report!
