Good morning it’s your pal Davey Mac here and we’ve got a busy Sports Report for ya!   The World Cup is on the way!   NFL Week 10 kicks off tonight!   And MORE!

But first…Yankees General Manager Brian Cashman says that the Yanks have “engaged” Aaron Judge and his people on returning to the Yankees.

Boston Red Sox v New York Yankees

Pretty good timing since Judge just went the American League Hank Aaron Award…the award given to the best offensive player of each league.   Judge, of course, hit a record 62 home runs while batting .311 in his legendary season.

Kansas City Royals v New York Yankees

Normally I would say that it is a LOCK that Judge to come back.   No only is Judge the BEST player on the team…but he’s also the most popular player on the Yankees as well.

But Cashman has screwed this thing up.   Cash needed to give Judge his gigantic (and deserved) contract LAST offseason.   Now, Judge is entitled to the moon and there’s nothing Cashman nor the Yankees can do about it.

New York Yankees Introduce Gerrit Cole

The question is will Brian Cashman be able to convince Yankee owner Hal Steinbrenner to spend the necessary BIG BUCKS to keep Judge in pinstripes?

He better!   Judge is a team leader, a fan favorite, and the BEST player on the squad!   Pay the man, Cashman!   Don’t screw this up or they’ll be Hell to pay!

I’m Davey Mac…that’s my two cents!
