Today's retirees have standards and requirements.
According to the World Atlas website, https://www.worldatlas.com/ , settling down in a place that isn’t catered to retirees isn’t exactly ideal. This is based on the standards and requirements for living many retirees have in mind. Some folks who've retired from their jobs are hoping to relax and unwind in destinations that are calm, quiet, and easy-going. Meanwhile, the hustle and bustle of city life might've been fun in the past, however, retirees who appreciate a little more slowness aren't drawn in by that. New Jersey, for example, is a wonderful state known for its historical charm, iconic landmarks, and well-preserved Victorian-style buildings. These are nine small towns in New Jersey that retirees should consider.

Many Counties to choose from.
Of the nine towns on this list, one is in the affluent Bergen County. Two more located in the equally affluent Monmouth County. Then, we have two wonderful towns in Union County, with a very famous old town from Mercer County. Also on the list are popular destinations in Essex, Morris and Cape May Counties. Interestingly, left off of World Atlas' list are towns in more rural counties in the state, such as Warren and Sussex Counties to the far Northwest, and Atlantic and Cumberland Counties to the far Southwest. Moreover, the Jersey Shore, while represented by Spring Lake in Monmouth County, is devoid of any entrants on this list from the popular Ocean County, which many of us call home. Furthermore, the largest influx of folks moving into Ocean County are indeed retirees. You can find out more about retirement planning at https://www.aarp.org/
