Good morning, people! It’s your boy Davey Mac here with your first Sports Report of the week! We’ve got the scores and matchups and news to keep you up-to-date with what’s going on in the wonderful world of Sports!
But before we get to the Scoreboard…condolences, Giants fans. As a fellow G-Men supporter myself…it’s time to acknowledge that our season is over and we are once again in Dark Times. Not only were the Giants destroyed by the average Raiders yesterday…30 to 6…but quarterback Daniel Jones was knocked out of the game with what some are saying could be an ACL tear in his knee.

Giants backup qb Tommy DeVito came in and immediately threw two interceptions and the defense couldn’t stop a Pop Warner team. The Giants fall to 2 and 7. And they simply don’t resemble the team that made the NFL postseason last year and even won a road playoff game. Brian Daboll doesn’t look like the same coach, either. What the hell happened?

I’m not sure if this falls on Giants general manager Joe Schoen, or Daboll, or the players, or whoever…but it is awful football. This is a time when Giants owner John Mara needs to step up and make people accountable. The Giants should be way better than this. Let’s go, Mr. Mara! Eagles Take Down Cowboys
The Eagles beat the Cowboys in a good one…28 to 23. Eagles QB Jalen Hurts threw for 207 yards, two TD’s and no interceptions…Hurts also ran for a touchdown…as the Eagles improve to 8 and 1. The Cowboys drop to 5 and 3.

Jets Vs. Chargers On 'MNF'
Tonight the Jets take on the Chargers on Monday Night Football at Met Life Stadium in a pretty big game for both teams. The Jets are 4 and 3. The Chargers are 3 and 4 but have Justin Herbert who has thrown for almost 1900 yards with 13 TD’s and 4 picks this year. Should be a good game.

Devils Beat Blackhawks
Over to hockey…where the Devils stayed hot yesterday as the Devils defeated the Blackhawks…4 to 2. Devil goalie Vitek Vanecek had 32 saves to pick up the win. The Devils improve to 7-3-1.

Aaron Judge At The NYC Marathon
Baseball. Yankee slugger Aaron Judge was at the New York City Marathon yesterday…supporting his wife who was running it and also taking pics with fans (Tamirat Tola of Ethiopia won the men’s marathon and Hellen Obiri of Kenya took the women’s race). Judge won the Robert Clemente Award last week in Major League Baseball…which recognizes a player’s commitment to character, community involvement and philanthropy.
