Jimmy Steal

PHILADELPHIA - FEBRUARY 6: Philadelphia Eagles fans react as they watch Super Bowl XXXIX at Chickie's and Pete's bar and restaurant February 6, 2005 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.      “GO BIRDS!” I crack up when I hear a Southwest Jersey accent shout that saying. The passion, the love, the vocal regionalism. Good stuff.  I was wondering where do the Eagles fans from New Jersey go in Jersey to watch their beloved Birds.

Many of the place I found when I did some research where not only close to the crossings into Philly, but where places I have visited or at least heard of. Once place in particular, the Jug Handle Inn, in Cinnaminson does my all time favorite wings, the Screamin’ Bald Eagles! But I digress, this isn’t a Jimmy Steal Hot Take story. It’s about birds of a different feather.

So where are all of these other places Eagles fans can scream, hoot and holler for Jalen Hurts, AJ Brown, and the rest of the team that is on the doorstep of their second trip to the Super Bowl in 6 seasons?

Well according to NJ.com, most of the Philly team fans are clustered in the surrounding New Jersey suburbs. It should come at no surprise then, that most of the sports bars cheering the national bird’s team on are concentrated in south Jersey. There is at least one though in what we consider North Jersey, and maybe, just maybe one or two at the good old Jersey Shore.

Listen, even though this article is titled “Best” bars to catch the Eagles , this is just a random list, not worst to first or vice versa.

I’m just completely listing these randomly. Well, except for the Jug Handle, cause you know, them screamers. They go first, but I would love to catch a game in any of these place, and I’m sure Sunday night around 6:30 they will be packed with those Eagles jerseys giving that E-A-G-L-E-S chant, and plenty of ‘GO BIRDS!”.
